Limited options in settings - can't add folders / users etc.

Postby attfiecz » Tue Apr 18, 2017 3:36 am

Hi there,

i've had a look through the forums and cannot find what i'm after so new post.
I just reinstalled Windows 10 and Subsonic (premium).
Initially I had the full setting menu through the browser and added one music directory.
Now when I go to http://localhost:4040/index.view? I get fewer settings options.
All I can see are Personal | Password | Players | Shared media | Subsonic Premium
Some other maybe relevant detail here:

License Subsonic Premium (expires November 22, 2017)
Version 6.1.beta2 (build dc75a2) – March 23, 2017
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_121, HSQLDB, Windows 10 (75.3 MB / 132.1 MB)

Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks, Christian

Thanks, that gave me the clue I needed.
Logged back in as Admin with the default password.
Thought (incorrectly) that I had changed the username and password but i'd created a new user and yes... not admin.
Fixed now, thanks.

Hello, I have issues logging on again on a new machine.

I can log on here obviously, but the same username an password will not log me on to the web browser.
I go here to reset the password http://localhost:4040/recover.view
And no combinations work and it's not recognising my email address.

Any ideas how i can log on?

Thanks,

Christian
