The alleged feature " Access your server over the Internet using an easy-to-remember address" does not work for me at all.
I have tried numerous times in the web interface to set this up, logged in as administrator, and I always get the same error message back.
"Status: Failed to test web address. Connect to subsonic.org:80 [subsonic.org/184.173.73.183] failed: connect timed out (ConnectTimeoutException) "
Should I assume that this "feature" is non-functional, and BS at this point, or am I missing something?
Yes, I have a "Premium Account".
Yes, I have port forwarding setup, in my router. The Subsonic server is accessible from the outside IP address of the router, both on desktop computers and mobile devices.
Can anyone provide and answer, or some advice?
It would be nice to use the "friendly" URL that is supposed to be a feature of the "Premium" account.
I am also curious if this server product, which works pretty darned well, is actually being supported or developed actively, or is it going to be stuck at this version?
Does anyone know?

BTW: I am running on a Mac, not that I think that it should have any bearing on the issue, but I neglected to include that technical detail previously.
