Cached Music in Adndroid app

It appears when using the android app that music is actually downloaded to the android device. If this is the case it would be nice to know how big the cache is and what is actually being stored in the cache. It might also be nice to set at limit on the cache size.

To add to this request, I would like to specify where the cache is stored as I would prefer to put it on my SD card than the internal storage of the phone.
