Yeah i have same problems.

Google link goes to http://www.google.com/landing/music/ -page and
lyrics-link brings always the same lyrics.

Can't see any errors in the web-log.
Will check the log-file later today.

Yep, definitely broken. The site is still up (metrolyrics) but apparently the feed somehow doesn't work at the moment. Hopefully not a permanent problem.

I noticed that the shown lyrics match the Metrolyrics sponsored Artist "Adam Lambert" and his son "Want".

Maybe Metrolyrics changed their API or dont not allow to access the lyrics anymore.
If their is no repair possible I would like to hide this Lyrics link, because its confusing to always get the same lyrics.

I fear no matter how many times the lyrics tool is fixed upon new releases, it is only a matter of time before it breaks again.
I think the lyrics option should simply be removed from future releases. Perhaps the solution is to not mess with the whole stripping the text from the page and pulling it into subsonic at all. Rather, perhaps it would ultimately be more useful and reliable to simply spawn a new window and search on metrolyrics page or whatever lyrics service it uses.

I would not go so far but I think there should be an option to disable it, so that the user can decide whether he wants it or not.
And even, if he wants it, he is able to disable it, if it's broken again.

About 30 % of my MP3s habe lyrics embedded.
I would like to be able to configure the lyrics-feature to look first for my embedded lyrics and if there is nothing, look fpr an external link.

I love the lyrics, I'm just pissed its not working. I think SS needs to offer more choices so the administrator can change which lyric service to use. Such as adding a few different choices and the ability to input your own choice of lyric database. However, getting rid of the lyrics is not an option.
