how to send stream to my AV-Receiver ...

Hi,

I would like to use my Onkyo AV-Receiver as Streaming Client. Streaming from Windows 7 machine by pressing "Play with => Onkyo" is working fine. Also directly with onscreen display on Onkyo receiver by queriing my media folders on server...

My Idea is to have Subsonic running on my Windows 7 server that contains all my MP3 files. I would like to hear the music on my ONKYO AV-Receiver and not on my netbbok that is connected to the web-frontend.

... maybe I have to give some more informations ...

I am running a windows 7 machine that acts as workstation, VMWare Server and data storage for my network. This machine is located under my roof

In my living room one stairs down, I have my Onkyo AV-Receiver that is also connected in my network and is able to act as a streaming client, that means I am able to play music from my notebook directly on my AV-Receiver by using the windows function "Wiedergeben auf" (maybe "play on" other device). This is working fine...

My idea is that I configure SubSonic on my server in that way, that Subsonic maybe with the Jukbox function is playing the music not on the server... I would like to have SubSonic stream that music to my AV-Receiver.

Is this possible or is there a workaround existing ...
