It would be awesome to add album folders on carousel.
Hope you will do that :D.

Is it possible for carousel to display newest instead of random albums?

So I guess it won't work on SS 4.4?
I try to mod it manually, but nothing happens (nothing is even messed up in any way :P )..

thanks

If you change in drop down many number of albums to be displayed on for example random tab, carousel window will also be affected. :P

what Version do you have installed latest SS 4.6 ?

try this steps to complete:

1. stop server
2. Backup complete SS folder
3. clear your Internet browsers cache AND cookies
4. clear (delete) subsonics internal cache (the jetty cache is at subsonic/jetty/<num>/jsp/org/apache/jsp/WEB_002dINF
5. edit/replace servers files to be modded
6. restart server
7. restart browser

I think this should help! :wink:

edit the code-block in top.jsp file

from
Code: Select all
<td style="min-width:4em;padding-right:1.5em">
<a href="home.view?" target="main"><img src="<spring:theme code="homeImage"/>" title="${home}" alt="${home}"></a><br>
<a href="home.view?" target="main">${home}</a>
</td>

to
Code: Select all
<td style="min-width:4em;padding-right:1.5em">
<a href="home.view?listType=hot" target="main"><img src="<spring:theme code="homeImage"/>" title="${home}" alt="${home}"></a><br>
<a href="home.view?listType=hot" target="main">${home}</a>
</td>

Hope this will help you! Dont forget to clear cache or reload/refresh Page/Frame within your Browser!!
