Hello,
Everything going out of our network goes through a 'firewall' type device that just asks if we want to continue out. Unless you click "continue" you can't access anything on the outside (designed for http but affects all ports).
For example, in windows 7 we used to have the weather desktop widget. But once that device was put in, it can't update anymore because it hits that verify wall, and since there is no way to click "continue" it just can't update.
So my question is, can we run subair through an ssh tunnel? What I have in mind since I'm on win7 is running putty to my server at home (where my sub server is). So once my connection is established, use maybe 127.0.0.1:4040 to connect to my local machine and then through the tunnel.
Does anyone have any experience with making this work? And for those wondering, changing the port does not work as everything hits that "continue" wall.
Thanks!
