I am encountering a similar issue trying to play DLNA files on my Onkyo TX-NR727 receiver. It can see the files but when I try and play anything it pops up a message "Cannot play". I am running subsonic 5.2.1 (build 4428). I am able to play files via DLNA on our old WD My Book World Edition NAS. I see the following in subsonic.log:
[2015-04-20 19:26:30,507] INFO FolderBasedContentDirectory - UPnP request - objectId: folder-56, browseFlag: BrowseDirectChildren, filter: upnp:searchClass,res,res@duration,res@size,res@protection,res@bitrate,res@sampleFrequency,res@nrAudioChannels,res@bitsPerSample,dc:creator,upnp:artist,upnp:album,upnp:genre,upnp:albumArtURI,upnp:albumArtURI@dlna:profileID,DoriginalTruckNumber, firstResult: 0, maxResults: 11

but nothing more than that. Is there any way to increase logging in subsonic?
