Excuse my ignorance, I have reistrated a xxx.subsonic.org address and paid for it. But after reinstalling my computer I cant access that anymore. Tried to setup an alternate address, that worked until I rebooted my modem.
I have other things running fine over dyndns and want to use that service instead, where do i Input the dyndns address, the field in network settings is only valid for xxx.subsonic.org addresses.

You don't - that is for setting up the subsonic.org redirect only.

OK, if I want to use DynDns as "static" IP to reach my server, how do I config that in my phone (iSub).

Or is there a way of checking whether http://<mydomian>.subsonic.org is pointing to the correct IP?

The web interface says "Status: xxxxxxxxxxxx.org is registered, but could not connect to it. (ConnectTimeoutException) "

Where the XXXXXXX is my domain, registrated and licensed.

You need to ask that question on the ISub forum

If you enter the address into a web browser it will come back with your external IP address and port no.

The screen shot is showing that SS is still showing unregistered - have you entered your licence details correctly?
I suggest that you check that the port is forwarded correctly use http://canyouseeme.org

Went through all settings and eventually it turned out that the modem/first router dropped the DMZ setting when it was rebooted. So I was behind 2 firewalls as opposed to one I had set up properly.

This combined router/modem my ISP forces me to use is PIA.

Thanks for all hints and suggestions BTW.
