[SOLVED] Problem with french characters

Hi !
I've just installed subsonic on Debian Etch and it works fine except, that it can't play songs with chracters like àéèç.... which are replaced by �...
I searched on the forum how to solve it but I am a totally newbie and I don't understand what I should do...
Thanks for this wondeful application !

Edit : Ok I solved by putting UTF8 in the web.xml file

Where did you put UTF8 in the web.xml?

I put UTF8 here <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF8"?> but i changed it many times so I can't remember what was there in the first time !
But finally I still got the same problem, I have to run dpkg-reconfigure locales after each reboot to solve it :(
