External Player: Winamp won't play songs from subsonic

Hi All,

I am using winamp 5.572. In subsonic, I set up for external player. I select a song in subsonic, winamp opens but won't play the URL provided. It is interesting to note that Windows Media Player (WMP) plays the URL just fine. Is this a setting within winamp I need to adjust?

The URL sent to winamp looks like this:

http://localhost/stream?player=1&pathUt ... uffix=.mp3

Have you checked the firewall settings, make sure Winamp isn't being block? Or, can you play other online streams with Winamp?
