Issues with Discogs Album art over HTTPS

Postby sporky » Wed Apr 21, 2010 12:30 pm

Hi, I currently use Subsonic 3.9 (build 1335) – 09 February 2010. I Access subsonic through a proxy server that acceptions a HTTPS connection and the forwards that connection on to subsonic which is running over HTTP on port tcp81. Everything works and has been for some time apart from Album art via Discogs. It looks like it finds that album art but the links that are passed to the browser wont display

The Javascript for the images looks as below
javascript:setImage('http://www.discogs.com/image/R-383027-1114056234.jpg')

Location of the images are passed as
http://ss.domain.co.uk:443/proxy.view?u ... 056234.jpg

In order for it to work for me it would need to be
https://ss.domain.co.uk/proxy.view?url= ... 056234.jpg

Is it possible to force it to repley as https link or have an option to imbedded the image as a direct link rather than a proxy though subsonic (ie. http://www.discogs.com/image/R-383027-1114056234.jpg)?

Is your "playing" page broken as well?? also is your settings page broken too?

Any issues with logging in?

No, only with discogs. I'm currently using microsoft TMG2010 server as a reverse proxy. (This is the new name for microsoft ISA Server)

The reverse proxy uses link translation to translate internal links to external but for the discogs it seems to get it wrong so I was wonder if there was a way to override the URL of the album art passed back to the browser?
