[Linux Server] Run as non-privileged user

Postby twiztar » Thu Apr 22, 2010 8:38 pm

Subsonic is currently running as root - which in most cases is a bad idea. I'd like to see the .deb package to create a subsonic unix user and run under that. Shouldn't be too much work to implement.

Otherwise, I've been away from Subsonic for a while - but since I recently got myself an Android cell phone I'm trying it out again. Awesome work with the Android client Sindre!
