Same artist in multiple folders,only one displays on Android

I've searched but can't seem to find an answer to this topic. My collection is folder based, but I separate my mp3 files from my flac files.
Thus I have
c:\mp3s\shakira
and
c:\lossless\shakira

In the tree view on the left pane, only one Shakira shows up, the lossless files. If I limit the tree view to the mp3s folder, I do get that version. If I limit it to the lossless folder, I get that version. Unfortunately, on the Droid there is not an option to limit the folders displayed, so it only shows the lossless version. If I search "Shakira " then all the files show up.

I could just put the lossless files in a subfolder of c:\mp3s\shakira, but I'd prefer to have all lossless files accessible in one folder.

Is there a way to have both lossless and mp3 items show up under the uber shakira heading?

Ok I think I figured it out if anyone else has this issue. Both artist names need to be the same case. I had c:\lossless\Shakira and c:\mp3s\shakira.

Once the case matches, both folders will show up in tree view and on android.
