I've noticed if you hit Play All on an album and then pause it and leave the app, it continues sending the album to you and logging it as played on Last.FM and otherwise. Looks like a bug to me... Had to kill the app using Advanced Task Manager to stop it.

The eager pre-loading of songs is actually intentional. It's actually quite useful if you're moving around and the network coverage is varying.
However, I hope to add an option for how many songs to preload so the user can configure this to his/her likings.
The last.fm scrobbling is an unfortunate side effect, I see that.
