Lame.exe keeps crashing

Postby ChaosKiller » Tue May 11, 2010 8:35 pm

For some reason lame.exe keeps crashing. I have no idea what the problem is. It is a windows xp computer with service pack 3. I tried it on my android device and through the web interface. I have no idea what information could be useful so just ask away.
Windows XP SP3
767MB RAM
1.83 GHz CPU
All mp3 files.

Edit: Turning all transcoding off for the web player solved the problem but might be better to actually fix it :/

Play a song that requires transcoding using lame.exe, then when it crashes, post the log file (in the About menu, or in subsonic\subsonic.log) - that should help.

Also I get in android as a toast message: "Error downloading "Ashes".
The operation timed out (SocketTimeoutException)" through wifi.

Still I don't understand why it would transcode mp3 while it streams as mp3 in the same bitrate.
