unable to edit login.jsp in v 4.0.1

In the 3.x versions I edited the login.jsp in the webapp\WEB-INF\jsp folder to create a custom login screen and add google analytics and add in a little eye candy. In the versions before 4.x I would copy my custom login.jsp and overwrite the one that was created during the upgrade but when I do this in version 4.0.1 none of my changes are displayed. Is a different file used to display the login page in version 4.0.1?
