Transcoding on Linux

Hi,

I had some problems with transcoding. I'm on fedora 12 and I don't understood why i had no sound when I played ogg files. And the problem was just tiny... Lame and faad was not installed...

But the point is that nothing are into the log file for report the problem which is trivial.

Is it possible to include lame and faad2 on dependance of RPM? And/or report this error into log file?
