It sounds, like you don't use an account with administrative rights. Try the original admin account and change the settings there or use the admin-Account to edit your user and check "User is Administrator".

try going into Settings>Search and then click "Update Search Index Now" and see if any of your music gets added.

I was reading in another post that someone found out that server side of subsonic didnt like folders starting with a period "." I notice that you have a period in your folder names, If you havent fixed your problem yet you might want to give that a try.

Thanks all for help!
Subsonic seems to not agree folders with "space" in theirs names ( "e:\Mes document" for example).
I've try to copy some album's folder in "e:\music" and it found it very well. It's sad to have to change my music's directory because it's always used by another applications.

Now, it works on my PC!! I try it on Android phone (samsung galaxy spica, 2.1).It works nice in wifi (i've only try from my house) but a network error occured appears in H/3g/E and it couldn' connect and play!
Info: I'm a Free users in france, maybe the settings for the router is special? I have open the port 80 on my webrouter but the network error is always there.

Tiens, un p'tit Français ;)

My answer will be in English :
You have to open the port number 4040, not the 80.

Subsonic isn't installed by default on the default HTTP port.

I have the same probleme with my directory.
If I give subsonic a folder containing music in "Music folders" section, it's ok.
But if I give a folder containing other folders : nothing is found.

Example :
If music folder is : "/home/boulate/music/eminem/recovery" : it works.
If music folder is : "/home/boulate/music" : nos music folder found

The only way I found was to put each new album music folder in "Music folders" option.

Recursive problem ?

It works fine now in wifi and 3g.
I have just open the port 80 and it works.
Now i saw the network function is limited in time.

Thanks all !! :D
