New Users Cannot Listen To Music/Older Users Can

Postby paradym3 » Thu Jun 17, 2010 11:34 pm

So I have a strange problem I cant figure out. Im running the most recent version of Subsonic. I have about 20 users able to listen normally no problems. I heard from my most recent user that they could sign in and download but not listen to any music. So I tested it myself, signed in as them and sure enough I cant listen to music. Sign in as myself and I can listen just fine.
So here is what I have tried: restarting Subsonic, no effect. Deleting some unused accounts, no effect. Reinstall Subsonic, leaving the C:\Subsonic folder in place, no effect.

After the reinstall I can still listen to music signed in as myself but the new users cannot. This leads me to believe that the user data or db is somehow at fault.

I am running the standard Windows version on W7 32bit. Other then new users, all 16 of my users are working just fine. Does anybody have any ideas of whats going on?

Thanks so much!

- wrong player settings for your new users?
- maximum bitrate set for the new users but your transcoding is broken?
- forgot to check "User is allowed to play files"?
