Is there a playlist limit

Postby danielr » Sat Jun 19, 2010 1:36 pm

I am having trouble with playlists. They were coming up empty and then I decided to create one with just a few files and it worked fine. Is there a limit to how many files can be in the playlist?

I am using iTunes and create my m3u playlist from there and then load it.

I'm having problems as well.

I made a complete playlist with all the music I have in winamp on the computer that hosts subsonic, but when I load that playlist into subsonics' web interface, the page just refreshes and returns to what I was looking at previously.

My first guess is that it can't handle a playlist that big, with in excess of 35k songs.

Smaller playlists work great, tho.

One of the largest playlists I have gotten to work is about 5k songs in Google Chrome. Chrome seems to work best with subsonic, IE will just typically crash when there is over like 200 songs in the playlist. I think firefox works fine too, unsure however as I only use Chrome for it.

Cool.

I'll just make several smaller playlists then, trying with 5k now :)
