Very cool idea. Does it run quickly?
I'll be watching to see when you make it available!

Sure it runs quickly, I have had some weird issues getting auto-start to work with different version of JW player, but I think I've hammered out most of the bugs, I've also added video support, updated the pics on the main page. Once I get a decent looking UI to surround the main video screen I'll put out some details on how to get it setup. The main problem I can already see is this script is written for my folder layout/subsonic setup, its going to take a flawless setup script to tune it for each user.

Did I really read "Drag and drop sort for the playlist"?
You are telling me, that I would be able to drag the last file and drop it to 2nd position? I won't have to click 15 times in order to have that song played next?

This would be so big.

Pleeease, releeease :)

Yes, drag and drop in the playlist is functional, I've also added an option in the right click menu to just pick a position to move it to. I ran into a problem saving playlists when they get to a certain length(I believe it's based on maximum http request length), although I've managed to save a playlist containing 300+ files, so it shouldn't be a problem for most users. Loading a playlist with almost 500 files is not a problem.

I'm close to finishing up the setup script which will create the sql databases and write a settings file based on user input.

Got a db as follows:

1,096 artists
1,124 albums
13,650 songs
235.47 GB (~ 3,657 hours)

Think this will be a problem?

The problem I was experiencing was related to playlists(to be specific the amount of songs you can send to be saved through the API at one time) as per the API here , unless I'm missing something, you have to send all songId's in one request for saving a single playlist. When you have a playlist that you want to save with 500 songs and the songId's are at least 10-15 characters in length you wind up with a massive url string.

If performance becomes an issue because there are too many artists on the left hand side I'm sure there will be a way to slim the display down. My album list has around 350 displayed in the primary view(I think I'm around 540 total) and it has no problems.
