Postby iamvoodoo » Sun Aug 01, 2010 6:22 pm

I just updated my subair and now when I open it it says required parameters missing. It worked fine until I updated. Help!

Same here

There was an update to the Adobe AIR and after that I'm getting the parameter error as well.

edit:
I was mistaken, the update was for subAir, not Adobe's AIR.

Temporary fix

Postby iabstract » Wed Aug 04, 2010 7:37 pm

In trying to troubleshoot the problem I've noticed noticed the following temporary workaround:

I use the subsonic address redirect (xxx.subsonic.org) for my server. Worked fine in .24, but not in .28. However, when I specified the direct IP/port address instead of the redirect, it worked properly, so the parameter error seems related to the redirect.

Note: you can also download and install the prior version from his website, which still works fine.

I notified the developer of this bug, so hopefully he's able to find a permanent fix shortly. Until then, I suggest using your direct IP/port address or downgrade to the older version (.24) and it should work.

New version

The developer has released a new version, .030, that has resolved the problem for me.

I downloaded version .030, and now I'm getting this error code:
200: Error #1096

I can confirm that the problem is related to the redirect. Using your regular IP address should work fine. Interestingly enough this release was specifically supposed to address this problem.
