No music folders found. Please change the settings.

I am getting the following error message:

No music folders found. Please change the settings.

I have all of my files on a server that is mapped to my computer as the X: drive. I have set up subsonic to name this folder as "Music", and have list "X:\" as the folder. I click save yet it does not seem to find the music folder. Is there a step I am missing?

Try using UNC path names. That solved it for me.

\\<device_name>\folder1\folder2\

I am having the same problem. I direct it to the folder with all my music and hit save but nothing happens!!! so frustrating. I've been trying for 2 days with no luck. have you solved this yet?

ps.

I can connect to my computer on my android phone. just can't add the music on my computer. thanks.

solved my own problem. but i'm an idiot. i put the folder directory in name and the name in folder. problem solved for me. hope that helps ya.
