license key

Postby jonez138 » Thu Jul 15, 2010 6:48 am

I recently bought a single license key and accidentally entered it for 2 separate installations, one in Windows 7 the other in Ubuntu. I wanted to try it out in each operating system but now I decided that I would like to get another key so I can have it run in both. My question is how do I go about removing the old license key of one of the installations and add a new key, preferable the one in ubuntu? I tried to un-install and reinstall Subsonic in ubuntu but the existing license key still appears?? Any help would be appreciated! thanks!

My understanding is that you're allowed to use the license on as many Subsonic servers as you like, as long as they are all your servers...

I have 3 servers. One for production use on the Internet, one for internal use on my home LAN, and one I use for experiments. I registered all 3 with my key.

This is clarified by the Subsonic developer on this thread:
