As far as I know, there isn't a way to do this in Subsonic.
The first thing I'm going to throw in, is if you're hosting copyrighted music, you really should not be streaming it to other people. Either way, I recommend separate accounts for each user, rather than 1 login for everybody. It's just easier to keep track of things that way. Plus, what if the password gets out to people who shouldn't have it? Then you'd have to tell EVERYONE that it had changed.
I guess your server could regulate itself. When it stops streaming well, people will probably get irritated and disconnect from it. lol. Although I know that's probably not what you want.
The best suggestion I have at the moment is some kind of global connection limit for that port enforced by your firewall, but that could cause persistent TCP connections to count against your user count... and I'm not sure how you'd go about setting up something like that, but I know you can do that kind of limiting with FTP servers.
