Java broken on Podcast tab

Using XP SP3, Subsonic 4.0.1 (build 1529) – May 13, 2010 for a while now with no problems, suddenly starting this weekend all the Podcast listings show this:

Error java.net.UnknownHostException: www.npr.org
Error java.net.UnknownHostException: downloads.bbc.co.uk

Leads me to think there's some kind of DNS issue and (of course!)... I installed DynDNS Updater on Friday...

As far as I know nothing has changed to my java install but none of the podcast subscriptions will work now...

Anyone have any ideas on this? Obviously removing DynDNS should be my first step, but I *know* this updater SHOULD work with Subsonic...

I'd try to do an nslookup from your sever first to see if it is a DNS issue for the box as a whole, or just within subsonic. (Alternatively you can try bringing up www.npr.org and downloads.bbc.co.uk in a browser from the server). I'm not sure why DynDNS Updater would cause your box to fail DNS lookups, since it is basically just sending out your latest IP to them and shouldn't be modifying your lookups.
