I just found out that Simplify Media has been cancelled and after searching for a replacement this seemed like the best choice.
I have to say that i like the look of the software and am impressed with the speed of the installation on my mac. I have got a couple of problems but imagine they are easy to solve if you know how.
I have auto port forwarded and named my server. Both seem to have gone successfully. I have downloaded iSub from the app store and it can connect to my music, (although it is taking an extremely long time to load my albums and my iphone is hotter than the sun.) The issues start when a friend trys to log in to my server. The mynam.subsonic.org page just redirects to the main subsonic page and if he trys the loner 198.168.blah blah blah address that i can see in my url it says address not found. I have also tried it with the 2nd PC in the house and no joy either.
Hope you can help and if so please try and use basic lingo as i am not too hot on techy stuff.
