Help with isub

Helping a friend get iSub to work on her brand new iPod Touch.
Subsonic is open. The donation shows as being accepted.
I can browse the internet on her iPod - good so far.
When I enter http://hostname.subsonic.org/wap I am prompted to load Artists. When I touch to load artists it tells me it cannot reach the server.

I can hit subsonic from a browser using http://hostname.subsonic.org/wap. It prompts me for a username so I know the router is forwarding correctly.

Any suggestions here please? It must be something dumb as so many others are getting this to work without problems.

Maybe the server address is wrong, i see you using the wap addres and you should'nt be.
just try http://hostname.subsonic.org

See if that fix's the problem.

Holy crap! That was it! Thanks for the help. I should have seen it/tried it myself but this was at the end of a long list of things that weren't working.

Just an FYI for future readers of this thread, the WAP interface is intended for "less advanced" phones, not iPod Touches or Androids.
