last.fm scrobbling stopped working

I discovered subsonic a few weeks ago, and I love it. I decided to start using last.fm again, because it appears that music will get scrobbled when I play it from my home PC, my work PC and my iPhone. This is awesome.

But, it appears that it stopped working. I installed the latest beta version, made sure to re-enter my credentials, but the music is not being logged on last.fm. Are there any logs I can look at, or is there a debug mode?

I noticed that if I have the official Last.fm application installed on my computer and open, some media player that supports its scrobbling (WMP, Winamp, iTunes, etc.) and if that is running in the tray and I forget to close it and then try to play subsonic.... it won't scrobble. Make sure you don't have the Last.fm service/app running anywhere else then it should work. That was my problem.

You can look in the subsonic.log

Try playing a song, then click on 'About' in the web interface and scroll to the bottom of the main frame to see what gets recorded there about Last.fm

Alternatively you could grep for ' AudioScrobblerService' in /var/subsonic/subsonic.log or wherever your log is stored (which should be stated at the bottom of the 'About' page.

Ok, I answered my own question. I was logging in with admin, who didn't have last.fm set up. As soon as I logged in as a different user, it worked.
