Soon after updating from 4.0.1 to 4.1 ive been experiencing this issue. ive never fully updated my search index on 4.1 without the server freezing or crashing. The only way i got my server back up and running a few hours on end was to revert to 4.0.1 and the problem seem to have moved into my 4.0.1 database. In order to update my index, i must first attempt to update my index by clicking the index now button and when the lights on my drives stop blinking, force quit the subsonic app and my new artists would be in when i relaunch. i would really like to get rid of this problem if anyone can help me, ive tried numerous technics but none seem to work.
Just wondering..... If theres a way to save just the user accounts and passwords and delete the db folder completely id like to try that, but it seem to me everything is stored in that folder and that folder itself might have corrupt files in there, im just guessing at this point, im out of ideas
