New server pc - how to move the previous no-ad subsonic

I have a new pc for my Subsonic server. I made a donation when I first got Subsonic so there would be no ads. How can I keep the no-ad status after I download and install Subsonic for the new pc? Thx

You could search your email archives for the original licence confirmation. Search for the Subject "Subsonic License" or you could mail the address listed on the Donate page and ask (I would imagine you would need to know what email address you used when you got the licence originally).

You could look in your subsonic.properties file and look for the line that starts:

Code: Select all

LicenseCode=

(Always learning new things )

hi there,
i have the same problem!
i changed the pc my subsonic-server runs on an now i cant access via my iphone my subsoninc-server.
i pastd my license-code into the subsonic.properties but it didnt change anything.
any ideas?

Do you have the Donate link at the top of your subsonic website? If so paste the code into the license box and you should be all set again.

no,
there is no donationlink and no ads or so.
that should mean that the server accepted the licensecode.
nevertheless i am unable to play music on my iphone getting the errormessage that i probably need to donate first....
