Help, can't set up internet connection

It does forward the port 80, but when tries to log on with my name I keep getting a timed out response?????

From your computer out to the router then out to the internet and back to your router and then to the server? There are routers that are not able to do loopbacks. You're ISP might also have loopbacks disabled in the cable/dsl modem.
Or from another computer/phone only coming in from the internet?

If you're running running apache on port 80 there's an issue. You can't run apache on port 80 and another server (Jetty or Tomcat) on port 80 at the same time. Choose another port for subsonic. A default install runs on port 4040. Any port that some other server or service isn't using is good. Try 8080.
