Android Offline Mode

How do you get offline mode to work. I have been using the app for quite some time and have never been able to get it to work. I have roughly 4 gigs of music cached to the sdcard. I can go to offline mode and navigate the saved tracks. When I go to play one it goes to the play screen but gets stuck there. All it says at the bottom is downloading. and it will never play. I can play the songs using the stock music player and winamp with the only problem being that they do not read the tags properly.

I have the same problem in offline mode. I can browse through the downloaded songs and I know the songs are complete because I can see them in the sd card and can transfer them to my PC and they play just fine.

I can also play all the cached songs using my default music player (cubed) on the Evo.

When I select any song to play, it stays at 0:00 and there is an the following error notification:

Code: Select all

Error Playing <song-filename>.

Prepare failed.: status=0x1 (IOException)

What am I doing wrong?

Bumping this thread as I have always had the same issue... Offline mode working for anyone else or can someone explain it's purpose if it needs to download?

Mine has always worked on my EVO 4G. My on glitch is the first track repeat.

Ver. 1.8.2 is the current version.

Go figure, just tested ofline play and the first track did NOT repeat!!

I guess I'll try it online next.

Just updated to the newest release today and it seems to be working on my Droid X now. Thank you
