Shuffle on Andrioid

Postby jmcachran » Tue Nov 02, 2010 12:16 am

I can connect to my server. I can see my library. I can even play individual songs.

But when I click shuffle it says "Playlist is empty". What am I doing wrong?

This may seem like a dumb question, but: How long did you wait?

Sometimes it takes a little time for a playlist to be generated, so you may have to give it half a minute.

Playlist is empty

I waited at least 5 minutes two or three different times. The demo server loads normally and yeah it can take up to 30 seconds. This one never loads though.

Can you select an album and see a playlist?

Playlist shuffle is now working for me in version 1.8.1.

The only persistent remaining issue I have with the Android Player is the first track repeat.

Annoying, but hardly a deal breaker.

Absolutely love this app!

I have helped others who were having problems that seem to be related to the upload data rate. If the phone isn't getting the next track faster than the player is playing, the player will see that it won't be able to play the next track in its entirety and will repeat the previous track. Once the player sees that the next track has enough data that it will finish before the player completes playing it, it will advance to the next track.
