Adding Music Already Ripped

Postby BigBirdy » Tue Nov 09, 2010 9:44 pm

Just trying out Subsonic and a Vortexbox installation. Pretty slick and I will likely donate something once I get things figured out. I noticed a new album ripped by VB showing up in the SS index just fine. I also copied over a couple of folders contained ripped mp3's and manually indexed and the albums showed up in the home page, but not in the index along the left side? Is there something else that needs to be done for indexing albums/files copied over to the music folder?

I'm not sure what browser you are using, but I am able to to right click in the left frame and choose reload frame and then my freshly indexed music shows up. I would think that refreshing the page or closing and then opening subsonic back up would accomplish the same thing.

cheers

Yeah my mistake, was a browser cache issue. Thanks :)

Using Chrome

The way Subsonic seems to be structured, it is necessary to manually refresh the frame on the sidebar (or log out and back in) to have new artist folders appear.
