First of all, it's very unrealistic on a support forum like this to get a response in 20 minutes.

If you go to Music Library, it shows no files and also no folders? Check that nothing is typed into the "filter" area of the Music library, as this may cause the albums to not appear.

I believe SubAir relies on the search database, but I am not entirely certain of this. On the web interface, are you able to search for songs? If not, create a search database.
(Settings>Search, update search index now)

I use the latest SubAir and Subsonic on two different servers, and I have not experiences this problem.

Cheers,
Kirk

I've waited 2 days, but i see your point.

I have the same problem with the android app, so probably every app won't let me see my Music LIbrary.

Search is working at the web interface ... :(

Hope anyone have some more idea's

Discussing the amount of time is pretty pointless, IMO.

I had the same problem and found that I hadn't typed in the path that the player was looking for. Most notably, it doesn't support the XXXX.subsonic.org redirect path. On my machine that's hosting Subsonic, I use "http://localhost" and on machines outside of my home network, I use the IP address of the machine that's hosting Subsonic.

The best way to tell if it's using the right path is that, once you type it in, you immediately get a little clock in the place of your cursor and in seconds, your library is available. If not, it will say "Offline" in grey text in the upper right hand corner.

Thans for the reply's all.
Yes everything is oke, i know this because I CAN listen music, but only that are stored in my playlist(so i can't see my full Music Library, thats empty, but when I go to Saved Playlist and open a playlist I can listen music)

It's outside my lan, but the ports etc are working(look above)

It's says online;)

My bad... I saw the times were close and I was probably on my iPad or doing other stuff at the same time, and I assumed that the user was someone expecting an immediate response. Sorry about that.

subAir no va

I just installed this a little while ago.

It launches into preferences tab in order to get the credentials. After typing them in, it seems stuck in a wait-cursor state. I can go to other tabs, but they're basically empty. I tweaked the username/pwd/server a few times, making sure that I was entering the right stuff, but nothing gets it out of this wait state and never does it update the library contents etc.

Meanwhile, I can access the server from my android device, as well as from a plain old browser.

Anyone else seeing this? Is there a log file somewhere that would provide some diagnosis?

BTW...if any of your file paths have periods . it can confuse the search indexer. Other special characters are also know to break the indexer. These paths will not be added to the index.
