can log into forum, but not the program?

Postby sbyre888 » Wed Nov 24, 2010 6:49 pm

I just downloaded 'Subsonic' and got it installed. The program asked for the word 'admin for the password. After using 'Admin' for both user name and password I was allowed in so I could create my user name and password. After doing so, I was told I'd need to follow the link from my email in order to become registered.

So now I attempt to go to the localhost/login and use the same username and password that I'd just created and I get "wrong username or password" , next I attempt every other possible combination of those as well as using blank spots and 'admin' ..... nothing works. All I can do is log onto this forum but can't actually do anything that this program is designed to do, which in reality, makes this forum useless.....unless....I can the issue resolved here!!

Anyone know what I didn't do or did wrong?

Well just reinstall and login and create a new user and then use the program. You don't even need a mail adress to run this program so there shouldn't be any problems.

It may be a good idea to stop and restart the service after making any changes (such as adding a user, etc.)
