I just installed version of Subsonic 4.2 on my win 7 machine. This is what I get when I try to login now.

I installed 4.2 and get the folowing.
HTTP ERROR: 404
NOT_FOUND
RequestURI=/index.view

I always update and have been running subsonic for a couple years now. Never had an issue like this.

I am sure it's temporary, but just thought I'd report it.

On my fedora install I had to delete the directory subsonic unpacks the war file too. For me it was /var/subsonic/jetty/1944

It may be diffent for you, but the subsonic_sh.log file will tell you where it is unpacking too.

I upgraded fine on windows 2008 r2 so it might be just a installer bug.

Mine is a windows 2003 server, never had an issue before. Should I uninstall completely and reinstall? Seems like I'd lose the library at that point, and users.

I downloaded and installed the beta over top the newest release and it fixed the issue. I'll wait for the next update.

Updated my Java did not fix problem. Did clean install did not fix problem. Increased amount of memory Subsonic could use in the system tray config app and problem solved.

Same problem for me. Worked like a charm prior to upgrading. Now this. :-(

i had same problem after running the windows installer.

something in the upgrade process is causing the disconnect, so i did a fresh install of 4.2 and its working fine.

Did that cause you to lose your users and other settings?

So nobody else is having this issue? It's just me and my three computers I have tested it on?
