Invalid view when logging on as Admin :?:

Postby audiosteve » Wed Dec 01, 2010 5:23 pm

This is similar to what Kirk posted in the feature request section. I had an album that was incorrectly named. I determined the correct name, renamed the folder and re-tagged its contents. NOW... every time I log on as the admin it goes to the page
(http://server_addres:4040/index.view where it is trying to display the contents of the old folder name. And when this happens it always adds multiple ...Failed to list children for..... error entries in the log. This is annoying and I would like to fix it.

So two questions. How do I stop it from defaulting to this view ? And how do I stop the error log entries ?

Thanks,
Steve

Sindre, by re-scanning do you mean 'update search index' from the 'Settings' page ? Or are you referring to something different ? I updated the search index with no change. I have also cleared my browser cache.
Is there something else I am supposed to try ? I could certainly look at any of the files on the server if that would lead to a solution. I'm pretty Linux savvy.
Thanks

Stop server. Go to "/var/subsonic" directory and delete file "subsonic12.index". Start server again...

Play other album under admin my be solved problem too...

Sindre,

Stopping the service, deleting the index and restarting the service did the trick.

Thank much and best regards,
