Andorid and SSL redirect

Hi,
I'm using "http://name.subsonic.org" for the android SS application. When I test the server it fails. If I type "https://name.dyndns.org:8443/subsonic", it connects successfully.

If I go to my computer and type "http://name.subsonic.org" it redirects me successfully to https SSL version. By port for non-SSL for SS is 4040.

Is the Android application not able to handle redirects?
