External Player & ratings questions

When I try to use "external player" it makes a playlist that I try to play using VLC. It will play the first 1 or 2 seconds of the song then stop. I can't get it to do anymore than that. I've also tried Windows Media Player and it wouldn't even get that far.

I see where I can rate each album, but is there anywhere that I can rate individual songs?

There is no way that I'm aware of to rate individual track at this time.

The External player feature works fine on my servers. You either have corrupt tracks, or you need to reset the defaults for your default media player on your desktop.

The tracks are not corrupt. I've tried it with many different tracks and they all work fine when I use methods other than external player.

I've tried it with VLC and Windows Media Player being set as my default player.
