Error writing mp3 output

Just upgraded to the 4.2 version and I'm getting the following error when I try to play a file via the web browser interface:

Error writing mp3 output

This happens in IE and Firefox. It did not happen in the prior version I was running, 3.9 I think.

I've seen this elsewhere on the forums with no resolution. What's especially frustrating is that others can connect to my server without problem, so obviously it's something on my PC, but I can't figure out what. I've made sure I'm running the latest version of Flash. What am I missing? Thanks.
