Genre sometimes blank

I have a number of tracks where the genre does not show in subsonic, but it does exist in the mp3 files on my PC (as it works in my local music program).

I am unsure of the best way to troubleshoot or provide more information to resolve this, but can provide anything that is needed to help fix the issue.

Select an album that has this problem. Once the track list is populated, click on "Edit tags" to check if the tag is properly set.

I figured out what the problem was... for some reason some of my tracks use a different tag type (APEv2 rather than ID3v2). I guess Subsonic can't read the APE tags for MP3s, so they are not showing correctly.
