Changed ISP now subsonic will not connect....!!!!

Use a different port. Port 80 is often blocked or used and reserved by the ISP. Use 8080, 8081, 8082, anything but 80!!!!

i think my new ISP is locking me out....my buddy is havin zero problems on different isp...

his 80 port is visible...

No ports open. ISP is likely blocking 80 for servers. Need to use another port number.

Canyouseeme.org will always tell you if you successfully pinhole a port. You must reboot the router after making the change, and then test with canyouseeme. Did you ever get a positive hit on canyouseeme?

Hmmm..that's progress! Is SS up and running? Go ahead and stop/restart service, and check canyou again.

It usually says 'connection refused' when blocked by a firewall. :p A timed-out result, is...well...better. I still show no 8080 open, btw. We need to re-check the router port config again.

got it.....in my single port forward i did not have the extension of my static ip typed in it was at 0....i plugged in the last number....and viola!!!

elated.....but dang that was stressful!
