Android clients suddenly stops playback

Hi,

I'm using the latest version of the android client (2.4) on a Gingerbread ROM.

I have the problem that the client is running fine but it keeps stopping the playback at a random amount of time. First I thought it was while getting a notification of Gmail, SMS or K9-mail but yesterday it stopped without any notification of any those "suspects".
When this happens the client even loses the current position in the current playlist.


This is not an Android 2.3 issue. I have had this error even with Android 2.2 and older versions of the android client.

My Subsonic server software is currently at version 4.2 and I have it unlocked by donation.

There still seem to be some unresolved issues with Motorola Droids, but other than that these symptoms are usually a sign of low connection speed, usually associated with upload bandwidth from the server, or poor 3g speeds.

I'm using a HTC Desire and I have set up subsonic to download the next 10 files. Those 10 files and the current one were fully downloaded at the time the playback stops.

So I can exclude both possibilities.
