$RECYCLE.BIN Showing as folder

Postby carlyman » Wed Jan 26, 2011 9:14 pm

Under "#" contents, my recycle bin is appearing as $RECYCLE.BIN. I have added a subsonic_exclude.txt in attempt to hide this folder, but no luck. Here's the contents:
    $RECYCLE.BIN
    "Recycle Bin"
    Recycle Bin
    Recycle Bin.bin
    Recycle.bin
My music is stored on its own drive and thus the base "folder" is the m:\ drive itself.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks,

Workaround: Create folder "Music" and move collection in this folder... Change in "Settings / Music folders" path (example: "m:\Music") and update search index.

...guess that would work, but is this the only solution? Outside of subsonic, it'd be slightly annoying/inconvenient to always have to open the music folder when browsing the m:\ drive.

Thanks again,

Alright, I created a Music folder and moved all my music there. However, the RECYCLE.BIN still shows up.

Any other thoughts?

Don't move RECYCLE.BIN in Music... You see always Recycle in root folder - Windwos
