Transcode problems with some mkv

Postby WhiteStar1 » Fri Feb 04, 2011 8:06 pm

Hi everyone. I have some issues with a number of mkv files not able to play in Subsonic but able to do so anywhere else. I have played around with the code but no luck. its just these files so far. Any help will be deeply apreciated.

If you go to a command prompt and do:

Code: Select all
ffmpeg -i moviename.mkv

What is the output?

Pretty hard to capture the output.

seems stream 0 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 47.62 (5952381/125000) -> 23.98 (24000/1001)
Input #0, matroska, from 'ghost_in_the_machine_ep01.mkv':

duration:00:21:56.05, start:0.000000, bitrate: N/A
stream #0(jpn):video:h264, yuv420p, 1280x960, PAR 1:1 DAR 160:87, 24.39fps, 23.98 tbr, 1k tbn, 47.62 tbc
stream #0.1(jpn): audio: aac, 48000 hz, 5.1, s16
metadata:
description :AAc 5.1 384 kbps
stream #0.2(eng): subtitle:0x0000
stream #0.3: Attachment: 0x0000

This is a lot of typing is there a easy way of output the result to a text file

Using WHS v1
