https & http concurrent connections?

Postby wizardai » Thu Feb 10, 2011 7:40 pm

Is there a way on 4.4 to have both accessible at the same time? Or does it have to be one or the other?

Thanks!

This should be possible if you use different ports for http and https.

Code: Select all
SUBSONIC_ARGS="--port=8080 --https-port=8090 --max-memory=100"

May be worth it to name your OS.

Thanks for the reply. I'm on BSD.

In my subsonic.sh I have modified the file to reflect my needs. So I have:

SUBSONIC_HTTPS_PORT=19999
SUBSONIC_PORT=20000

But for some reason, I can only connect to https and not http.

So if I default the value to
SUBSONIC_HTTPS_PORT=0

I can get to http again.

The ports have been opened and can be connected to with different configs. It's just at the same time I haven't been able to.

Any ideas?

Oh and the reason I would like both is because on the subair client, it yells about not having a signed certificate. So I'd like to use http only on that... the connection is already going through a tunnel to the server so there's no worries there.

Thanks
