Flash player skipping tracks

Hi,

I am having issues with the flash player playing less than 1 second of each track in an album and then skipping to the next track. I have only found this to happen in one of my albums. If I pause playback, and then manually select midway through the track and then hit play, it plays normally. Once it gets to the end of the track, though, and skips to the next one, it starts skipping the tracks again. These files are VBR MP3s and play normally in windows media player on the source computer. They also play normally using the Android subsonic app on my phone. I am using 4.4 on Windows 7 64 bit.

I have a similar issue when playing some VBR tracks, I found that converting them to a CBR fixed the issue. It's weird, only some VBR tracks will skip like that, while others play normally. I'm not sure what the underlying cause is, but my workaround has been to convert to a constant bitrate.

You can also try running those vbr files though VBRFix, and see it it fixes the issue w/o transcoding.
